Red 6 x I/ITSEC Designing an Immersive Aerospace Trade Show Experience
Red 6 Aerospace, developer of the world's first Augmented Reality in Air Combat Maneuvering system, required a commanding presence at I/ITSEC, the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training event. The brief: communicate cutting-edge AR technology to a defense audience accustomed to seeing the most sophisticated hardware in the world. The design challenge was two-fold: create a booth experience that felt as advanced as the technology itself, while maintaining the austere, mission-ready aesthetic fitting a defense contractor operating at the frontier of military aviation training. For the I/ITSEC 2024 conference, one of the world’s leading events for defense training and simulation, I designed a branded booth experience for Red 6 that translated advanced aerospace technology into a visually immersive and approachable physical space. THE OBJECTIVE Create an environment that reflected Red 6’s innovation in augmented reality aviation while standing out within a highly technical defense exhibition floor.
